New Year Christmas Fireplace Counted Cross Stitch Kit by Luca-S B2416L

Stitch New Year, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S Gold Collection — an elegant white living room at the turn of the year, with a crackling fire under a wreath and garland, a tall tree in soft pink and gold, a white Santa figure, shelves of ornaments and cosy armchairs. Based on artwork by Richard Macneil.

A little stitcher's folklore: an old custom says the first person to cross the threshold on New Year's Day brings the house its luck for the year — a warm fire makes sure they stay.

Why this kit: a large, elegant festive showpiece with 64 colours for experienced stitchers who love a softer Christmas palette.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Anchor 100% cotton threads in 64 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a black-and-white symbol chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Work one chart page at a time, starting with the fireplace and wreath, then the tree, and finally the room and furniture.

Finished size: 57×38 cm (22.4×15 in). An elegant festive centrepiece and a treasured gift for the holidays.
