Flower and Bird Chinese Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – Maple Leaf Peacock

For lovers of traditional scroll art, this depiction of maple leaf peacock will feel instantly familiar. Right away, distant peacock sets the tone for the whole scroll. For collectors of chinese flower and bird painting, the peacock alone makes this scroll worth a look.

You can feel rich color in every stroke. The painter adds maple leaf in soft focus and sprays of bamboo for good measure. The bamboo is a symbol of integrity that bends without breaking. Calligraphic inscription gives the piece its scholarly character. The result feels like something from a scholar's studio wall. Few decorations earn their wall space so gracefully. There is warmth here, even in the cooler tones.

For collectors of chinese brush painting, this maple leaf peacock scroll is an easy addition. It rounds out a grouping of chinese scroll painting nicely, with delicate maple leaf as a highlight. Let morning tea happen beneath it and thank us later. It suits both modern interiors and more traditional rooms.
